Reviewer’s Take

Ah, the game that came and went as fast as Minecraft, at least from the main stream media, however this one seemingly didn’t have a resurgence from the grave. But, just because it hasn’t regained it’s initial popularity, similar to Minecraft, it is still a Good Game either way.

What is Terraria?

Terraria is a 2D Sandbox Survival game, topped off with the largest difficulty curve you will ever try to walk upon. Literally, you better build a house quick or you’re going to be dead within the night!

Difficulty Curve

This is correct, this game has a giant difficulty curve. But if you’re someone who enjoys a nice challenge, you may enjoy this difficulty curve. I personally find it quite engaging, however i often find myself raging, because i die from a Giant worm who swoops through the dirt and eats you alive!

The gameplay, like mentioned, is very engaging and challanging, it is good for those like to play hard games, and face the death screen more then once. It is definitely harder than Minecraft.

The gameplay is enjoyable and fun. It is something you cannot get over, as the game is constantly being updated, and changes are always being made.

There are boss battles, guns, magic, swords, it’s really the perfect RPG for those who enjoy becoming literally unstoppable.

There is a built in “Hard mode” in the game, which is literally just as it sounds, the game gets harder! And how does it do that? Adds more enemies? Nope!

You get to play completely different monsters who are 100% more powerful!
Sounds great! huh? If you think this is sarcasm, it actually isn’t.

What the team at Terraria has done has created a very unique survival block game, that, back in the day, was seen as “2D Minecraft” well, i can tell you now, this game isn’t Minecraft. They are both two different games.

This game is a very unique style of game. It’s art style is unique, it’s gameplay is unique, and in all honesty, it would count as like 7 genres. It is genuinely impressive, and the fact that Re-Logic still find a way to make more updates? It’s absolutely mad!

Would i recommend it?
